Linguistics

I am a fifth-year Doctoral student in linguistics at the University of Connecticut. My main area of research is syntax. Especially I’ve been focusing on various locality issues in Korean regarding the Contextual approach to the “domain” in the theory of phases.I’m also working on the project in experimental syntax, where I start off the investigation on the subject island effect in English with EEG-base methodology. For the future research, I am planning to expand the finding from the current project to some questions about the locality issue in Korean.
